New PC, but 1 problem with some UT servers.

Hey all, I have my new PC up and running which I got for Christmas. Everything's fine, Unreal Tournament works etc.

But their's one problem with Unreal Tournament; I try and get onto the sniper server which most us go on and it comes up for about 3 seconds and POOF! Unreal Tournament completely goes off. The first time it did this it asked me to download UTDC (whatever that is). I've just realised that all the Multiplay.co.uk servers have this problem and I can't get on a single one. Now when I try get on it again, it does this:



I try other servers (like the Explosive Server, which is not a Multiplay.co.uk server) and it works perfectly fine.

Does anyone know what this means, and can anyone help me get on this server?

the game will just crash on me and if it does`nt i get annoying glitches e.g my shots have no effect atol! but other people can kill me at that time

or players freeze and appear 10m away from where i am shooting
or players slide across the map only there somewhere esle

just wondering if anyone else expierences it??

Have you scanned the computer.....Avg,Malwarbytes and supper-anti-spiware are recommended.

are you using vista(terrible oc).

i dont know if any of that helped.

Yes, I use AVG and Vista Home Premium.

But I don't think my problems anything to do with my Internet Security or my Operating System.

Also for your problem (Sim), what are you using? A Desktop, or a Laptop? Also check your Wireless connection as well, this maybe a problem for your glitchy expierience while playing UT.

try downloading UTDC, i think that it is software that prevents you from cheating, and other stuff, here is some information on it

Just went onto Server, running ok?

But still some changes need to be made regarding what people want in it.

Im adding up the scores to the quiz now and results can be found in the GENERAL forum.

Our server is going well now, Arapaima is our server admin, he hosts it at his computer.

This weekend he is trying to find a way to reduce the ping on the server.

But everyone is welcome on the server, soon we shall have clan matches on their so remember to look out for upcoming matches.
